Summary: We were impressed about how spacious the house was as the photos made it seem smaller. That was a great surprise! We all loved the house and location. The only drawback was one bathroom (altho spacious) for four 76 year old women. We also would recommend a wastebasket with a lid for the bathroom and would request bottled water due to the elevated Nitrates in the water. that has been reported in the newspapers.Thankyou!!

Summary: We had a great stay in Decorah at Tusen Takk. Janice was very quick to respond to my questions. The house was very clean, the location was absolutely great for a downtown walk when weather allowed (it was pretty humid). The house super cute, the beds were comfortable, and the window air conditioner kept the upstairs cool.

Summary: Nice clean place. Had record player which was fun to use listening to some old records while hanging out. Would have been nice to have a bathroom also upstairs for those staying up there but not a big deal for both couple to share one. Owner communicated very well. Place was super clean with lots of little extras which made it special
